The inaugral OBH Teamchase at Step Farm on the 14th September 2008 was a huge success with both Novice and Intermediate teams braving the conditions when all around them, including Blenheim had cancelled. Considering the weather leading up to it, the course held out suprisingly well as you can see from the photos below taken afterwards. The actual day started with thick fog delaying the action for half an hour, then the sun came out and the first Intermediate team set off sensibly with all four members having a good first run coming home clear.

Many thanks to the main sponsor, Bewley Homes PLC who were a great support and also to all the other fence sponsors, officals, course builders, fence judges, vets, ambulances, hunt staff, caterer's and anyone else who helped, without which the day could not have happened. A special mention to Miles and Annabel Saunders and Mr T Freeman for the use of their fantastic venue.
